THQ Nordic has outlined its post-launch DLC plans for Darksiders 3, Gunfire Games' continuation of Vigil Games' well-regarded hack and slash action-adventure series.
Darksiders 3, which chronicles the escapades of Fury, the third Horseman of the Apocalypse, comes to PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on November 27th. It'll be followed by two separate DLC drops - each of which, according to THQ Nordic, will feature 'new playable areas... new challenges, puzzles, items and enemies'.

DLC pack one, known as The Crucible, takes Fury on a journey to the mysterious location of the title - her presence 'requested by a strange entity wishing to test her skills in battle'. This one's a Horde-Mode-style affair, with players up against 'wave after wave of enemies'. Success in combat will unlock new rewards and items.
Darksiders 3's second DLC pack, Keepers of the Void, sees Fury heading into the Serpent Holes at the behest of demon merchant Vulgrim. Apparently an ancient threat is making a nuisance of itself inside and players will need to get rid. This one sounds like the meatier of Darksiders 3's DLC episodes, and promises 'new puzzles and enemies eager to test Fury's abilities'. Completing its challenges will unlock new weapons and the Abyssal Armour.
There's no release date for either of these post-launch DLC packs just yet, but both are included as part of Darksiders 3's physical Apocalypse and Collector's Editions, and in the digital Deluxe Edition. Presumably, owners of the standard edition will be able to purchase The Crucible and Keepers of the Void separately (or as part of a Season Pass) closer to release, but THQ Nordic hasn't said as much just yet.

The third installment of the Darksiders series, Darksiders III features Fury, one of the 4 Horseman of the Apocalypse. Addition & Balances
- Added Force Respawn.
- Available in the game options menu.
- It will kill Fury and return her to the last Vulgrim Waypoint that you visited.
- Added functionality on Force respawn that will force the hollows to re-equip to Fury.
- This is for the issue where Fury’s hollow abilities appear to have stopped working.
- Reduced Fafnir Enhancement’s damage output.
- Increased Havoc Generation on Obscurus Enhancement (only affects Ps4)
- Increased Health and Damage amounts on Fortifier Enhancement (only affects Ps4)
Changes & Improvements
- Multiple improvements to help performance and loading (both on base and upgraded spec consoles).
- Performance improvements should also significantly reduce stuttering in high-density areas.
- Updated Story mode to be more forgiving.
- Adjusted invulnerability windows across all difficulties.
- The windows are consistent on Balanced, Challenging, and Apocalyptic and even more significant on easy.
- Modified hit indicators for better readability.
- Added FOV scaling to keep correct FOV on 21:9 monitors. (PC)

Fixes
Darksiders 3 Patch Download
- Fixed various crash issues.
- Fixed the issue where Force blocks were getting stuck in Scar.
- If players have encountered this issue, it should destroy the stuck block, and if you come back to the area, it will reload the block in the correct starting area.
- Fixed the issue where X and O prompts are reversed incorrectly when confirm and back functionality is changed in the console settings.
- Fixed the issue where certain stacked breakables wouldn’t break in Bonelands.
- Fixed the issue that would break Gluttony fight.
- Fix should also correct saves that had this issue.
- Fixed multiple issues where players can get Fury into unintended locations or unintended locations without expected Hollows (in some cases Force Respawn may need to be used).
