Dota 6.88 ai is the latest dota ai map created by a Chinese member and translated to english language. This map is a beta version based on DotA 6.85k, and includes various bug fixes as well as synchronization some items to the 6.88 for RGC.

DotA 6.88 AI

This Dota AI (Artificial Intelligence) version allows you to play against heroes managed by the computer (Bots), these bots can be configured to be enemies or allies in a match, you have the option to choose against which heroes to play (read commands), as well as select its level of difficulty in the game. This AI map also allows allows you to create games in “Single Player” or create offline games on LAN (“Local Area Network”), to play with your friends at cybercafe or LAN Center.

Dota 6.88 Ai includes the following new items: Dragon Lance, Faerie Fire, Solar Crest, Octarine Core, Book of Knowledge, Blight Stone and others and others improvements.

If you want to play DotA 6.88 Ai, you need the following requirements…

– Warcraft III The Frozen Throne version 1.27b (1.27.1.7085) or latter version (+1.28)

* This dota ai map doesn’t work with the patches 1.27a, 1.26a or before.

Dota 2 6.88 Patch Download

ERROR: “The map file is too big. Please choose a different map.” (when trying to play on LAN).
Well, only 1.27b supports maps whitn more than 8mb in size. You can play this map in single mode with 1.26a or 1.27a patch (Join to “Single” -> “Custom Game” -> and in “Select game setting” select the dota ai map and play), but you can’t play on LAN. If you have patch 1.26a or 1.27a and you want to play DOTA AI on LAN with your friends, you have these solutions:

* Solution 1: update your Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne to 1.27b version
* Solution 2: Use Warcraft Version Switcher to upgrade or downgrade your Warcraft version to 1.27b <-> 1.26a.
* Solution 3: use the game.dll file of your 1.26a patch: “game.dll for LAN” (unzip and copy game.dll file in your warcraft folder, but first make a backup of your current game.dll file).
* Solution 4: use the patch fixer: “Warcraft III bypass map file size limit” (Just unzip and copy the forcefixsizelimit and GameDll_fix_mapsize_limit.mix files in your warcraft folder).
* All players need the same game.dll file/patch to play on LAN. Only use these dll/bypass in offline mode (LAN), never to play online, some servers detect it as a hack map / cheats, and you can be banned.

II.- Some Items and abilities/attribute bonus doesn’t work. Unfortunately at this moment there is no solution, this is a test map, we just have to wait for the next update. You can see more dota ai maps here.

– This ai map is still an unofficial beta version (currently under development), during its operation there may be crashes or errors during the game.
– The “Attribute bonus” and some items doesn’t work.

I’m not going to dig up past versions to make sure, but 6.88 may be the Dota 2 patch with the biggest number of minor balance adjustments. Today’s 6.88f makes this the sixth iteration of version 6.88 – which, in fairness, has some of the best balance I’ve seen in Dota 2 so far.

As you’re probably expecting, this patch takes the nerf bat to the kneecaps of a few more heroes. Heading off to the balance hospital this time are Oracle, Kunkka, Shadow Demon, Underlord, Morphling, Drow Ranger, Omniknight, Outworld Devourer, Mirana, Faceless Void, Phantom Assassin, Arc Warden, Juggernaut, Riki, Bounty Hunter, Nyx Assassin, and Batrider – and a bug has fixed Return with Centaur Warrunner illusions. So, uh, most of the really popular heroes of the moment, then.

6.88 Dota 1

Most of the nerfs are “minor” insofar as they’re tweaks to the numbers (even if those are some fairly big tweaks in a few cases, like Stifling Dagger’s level 1 cast range dropping from 825 to 525 and Outworld Devourer losing 6 base damage) but there are a couple that will likely have a wider impact. Spark Wraith doesn’t dispel anymore, but arguably more important is that Flamebreak knockback no longer breaks channeling, which should mean it can’t stop a Town Portal anymore. Unless that’s another weird exception, anyway.
